I would like to express my pride of belonging to the Department of Urban & Regional Planning, Faculty of Environmental Sciences, University of Lagos. Urban & Regional Planning is taught in only a few universities in Nigeria, hence the need to meet universal standards in mastering the requisite skills of the discipline. Since its foundation, the department has spared no effort in developing a programme that fits the needs of society and keeps pace with developments in the field worldwide. We are confident that we are adopting a learning environment capable of preparing and qualifying graduates who are able to face challenges innovatively and creatively.
